Tulsa Employment Outlook Second Best Nationally

According to a interview by Manpower, Inc. and reported by the Tulsa World, Tulsa is tied 2nd nationally with Greenville-Mauldin-Easley, S.C., with a 20 percent net employment outlook for the 2nd quarter of the year.

Of the Tulsa companies interviewed, 22 % said they plan to hire more employees, while 2% expect to cut staff.  Another 73% expect to maintain their current staff levels, and 3% are unsure of their hiring plans.

That is a great sign to see for the city of Tulsa, and nationwide the outlook is also positive as well, with 33 out of 50 states anticipating considerable increases, according to Manpower’s report.
