Brooks spent 7 years in Bosnia and Hercegovina as a missionary for at risk youth. After returning to the United States he worked as a pastor to a local church in Flemington, New Jersey, then in the security field as a security adviser for ADT.
Brooks and his wife moved to South Tulsa four years ago. He received his Real Estate license in 2014. Brooks is the current president of Fox Point, instructor of Leave No Trace, alumni of the National Outdoor Leadership School, a member of Ducks Unlimited and a hobby photographer. He and his wife also work with Mission Mostar, a humanitarian outreach for the hungry, destitute, and at risk. Brooks and his wife are expecting their first boy in March.
