Rob was born in Williamson, WV, and moved to the Roanoke, VA area when he was 10. There he attended William Byrd High School, where he played football, wrestled and was in the band.
Before joining McGraw, Rob retired with 34 years from the Department of Defense at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, where he was an engineer and Supply Chain logistician/program manager. For more than 26 of those years, he managed the entire fleet of jet engines used in USAF aircraft. He transferred to Tinker in 2000 after several years at Kelly AFB in San Antonio. At his retirement ceremony, Rob received the Outstanding Civilian Career Service award and medal. Before starting his career with the Air Force, Rob served in the US Navy and was a Desert Storm combat veteran, serving as an engineer aboard two destroyers and a destroyer repair ship. He also possesses a Master of Business Administration degree in Technology Management.
Rob attends Life Church Bixby campus. In his free time, he enjoys home projects such as woodworking and “building stuff with 4x4s”, hopping in the pool with his granddaughter, and is the drummer/co-vocalist in the local band ‘Bad Neighbour’.
